As a designer and freelance contributor for WGSN, the leading global trend forecasting service based in London, I contribute kidswear expertise in the form of design, cultural inspiration, and analysis of consumer attitudes which shapes future micro and macro trends. I also do extensive research to create Emerging Trend reports and Design Files which include inspirational mood boards, styling direction, key items, design details, and color. Seasonal collections are created in collaboration with the team in London, and I design and draw downloadable key item CAD shapes using Adobe Illustrator.
As a New York-based contributor, I worked independently and attended fashion trade shows, presenting on-time brand and trend analysis and blog posts. I also photographed and gave analysis of Brooklyn and Manhattan street shots and created city retail guides for subscribers’ reference. I also provided US-focused creative intelligence and have translated conceptual European reports for the US market, creating a break-down of inspiration and trends for the US fashion industry to plan future collections.
I am available for freelance design and trend forecaster work. Concept boards, color, and pattern direction can be done remotely in addition to designs and Adobe Illustrator CAD sketches.
